Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
These awards provide a tuition waiver of resident tuition for one year, up to 16
credit hours per semester. The awards are renewable for one additional year for
a total of 64 credit hours provided the recipient maintains a 3.25 GPA while
enrolled at Chadron State College. Applicants must be Phi Theta Kappa members at
their current institution, complete and return the general academic scholarship
application and indicate that they are seeking consideration for the Phi Theta
Kappa tuition waiver, earn a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and an A.A. degree prior
to their enrollment at Chadron State College, and enroll full-time at Chadron
State College immediately following their A.A. graduation.

Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship
An unlimited number of renewable $9,000 scholarships are available. A cumulative
3.5 GPA and 45 credit hours are required. Non-U.S. citizens , part-time students
and students with previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Five scholarships of $6,000 each will be awarded to Phi Theta Kappa members.
Student must have a 3.5 GPA and a minimum of 24 credit hours. Student must
enroll immediately following at two-year college. Scholarship is renewable if a
3.0 GPA is maintained. Non U.S. citizens, part-time students and students with
previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible.

Phi Theta Kappa Community College Transfer Scholarship
Full in-state tuition scholarship for two years plus a $500 room waiver if the
student plans to live on campus. Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
will qualify for in-state tuition as part of our Student Opportunities Scholars
Program. Students must complete their associate degree (of arts, science, or
applied science), have a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative GPA at their community
college, attend the main campus in Peru, and be a member of Phi Theta Kappa. The
total cost for attending Peru State College for one year is approximately $9,300
for Nebraska residents, which includes tuition, room and board, fees, and books
and supplies.

student must maintain a 3.00 GPA and complete 24 semester hours. Non-U.S.
citizens, part-time students, and students with previous bachelor's degrees are
not eligible. The student must enroll immediately following two-year college.

M.M. Simons for Phi Theta Kappa
One $500 per year scholarship available. A minimum 3.5 GPA and a minimum of 45
semester hours (30 hours applicable towards UNL degree) successfully completed
by March 1 are required. Applicants must submit a one page personal statement
highlighting their Phi Theta Kappa and college involvement to UNL Scholarship
contact by March 1. Non-U.S. citizens, part-time students, and students with
previous bachelor's degrees are not eligible. The student must enroll
immediately following two-year college.
