WelcomeTo paraphrase Lord Curzon, China "is a university from which the scholar never gets a degree"
China is the oldest continuous civilization on earth. To probe its many dimensions and mysteries is a daunting but eminently rewarding task. Steeped in rich traditions and historical epochs that date back to the Neolithic age, China attracts people around the globe who are drawn to the mysteries of this faraway, enchanting land. To immerse oneself, even if only for a short time, in this land of beauty and contrast constitutes for most students an opportunity of a life time. There is an old Chinese proverb that says "When you’ve read the last page, close the book." But if Lord Curzon was right, this is one book we will never close . . . a not unpleasant thought when all is said and done.
