This will be the club's Spring Quarter meeting. 

 

Date: Monday, April 30

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: South Omaha Campus, Connector Building, Room 222 (This is the Writing Center)

 

Event #2

Denise will also be visiting two classes at the Elkhorn Campus before her reading at South on Monday night.  Denise will discuss an excerpt from her book Natural Theologies: Essay about Literature of the New Middle West (http://www.amazon.com/dp/1935218220/ref=cm_sw_su_dp) and lead the group in a writing activity.  This event is free and open to the public.

Club Details:

The Metropolitan Community College Writers' Club enables its members to share their interests in the reading, discussion, and composition of all genres of writing across disciplines.

Those interested may take part in any or all of the following activities:

        (1) Discussions on the art of writing;

        (2) Writing workshops;

        (3) Publication of The Metropolitan, the online and print magazine of writing by students at
            Metropolitan Community College.

        (4) Local readings, performances, and exhibits; and

        (5) Creative work with fellow members to promote the reading, discussion, and composition of
            various genres of writing across disciplines.
