Pegler Series: An Evening with Master Chef Fritz Sonnenschmidt

Certified Master Chef (CMC) Frederic H. "Fritz" Sonnenschmidt is a noted author and television personality who demonstrates modern cooking applications and trends throughout the United States and around the globe. He is one of fewer than 70 chefs certified as a Master by the American Culinary Federation, and has authored "Charcuterie: Sausages/Pates/Accompaniments", which represents the culmination of a lifetime's worth of knowledge. Chef Sonnenschmidt has also helped shape the careers of more than 30,000 culinary professionals as instructor, advisor, and culinary dean during his 34 years at The Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, NY.

Prix Fixe Dinner with Wine Pairings

Chef Sonnenschmidt will share his expertise at a public event August 5th at Metropolitan Community
College's Institute for the Culinary Arts. A five-course Wine Dinner based on Chef Sonnenschmidt's
experiences in Africa will be served from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. This dinner is part of the Pegler Series, which is dedicated to bringing noted culinary arts experts to Metropolitan Community College to share their
expertise with students and the public.
